MicroLaserPeel

Type of Laser Used

Sciton's Erbium laser is one example of a cosmetic laser system used for MicrosLaserPeel treatments. It is a computer guided laser that precisely removes the outermost layers of the dermis. The procedure is specifically tailored to each patient and the type of skin conditions to be corrected.

Comparable Treatments

MicroLaserPeel treatment provide better results than microdermabrasion or even light chemical peels.  One MicroLaserPeel at the lowest setting is equal to about 6 microdermabrasion treatments.  Results from MicrosLaserPeel can be similar to Photofacial and not drawn out over a 15 week period.  Results are evident in less then a week!  

Typical Results

MicroLaserPeel treatments leave patients with healthier, smoother and more vibrant looking skin.  A significant, immediate change in skin texture, tone and tightness is apparent.  Skin will continue to improve over the 6 months as a result of increased collagen stimulation in the deeper layers of a paitent's skin.

The Process

Treatments are usually conducted 2 to 4 times and spaced between 6 to 8 weeks apart to allow for maximum effect. Optimal number of treatments are determined by existing skin condition.

Healing usually takes 3 to 4 days. Immediate symptoms following the procedure resemble sunburn.  Minor sloughing may commence on the 2nd day post treatment. Redness usually begins to fade by the 3rd day and effectively covered with make-up on the 4th day.
